Cheaters and reverse-cheaters

My rating at the moment is artificially inflated. Yesterday was a wild day. I frequently encountered two cheaters. Vicster[angryface] was using the all I's cheat, which annoyed me to no end even though I can sometimes beat him. [upsidedowntriangle][upsidedowntriangle][upsidedowntriangle][upsidedowntriangle][angryface][upsidedowntriangle][upsidedowntriangle][upsidedowntriangle][upsidedowntriangle] was cheating in a different way. Every time I played him, he would disconnect, causing my rating to go up. But then, he would connect again, and at the start of the next game he would have a higher rating. Somehow he is disconnecting in a way that raises the ratings of both players. I played him several times, and since his rating went up along with mine, I kept getting significant ratings boosts every time he disconnected. That's why my rating is artificially high right now. I justified my continued playing by saying that I won't let cheaters dictate my actions. I wanted to play, and I was going to play. It's not my fault I kept getting paired with a cheater whose cheating just happened to work in my favor.Post Comment0 Comments
The Nintendo hub is broken..

Apparently blockstats thinks I'm the second best player in the world right now, which is clearly incorrect. A few days ago it said I was ranked #135 or something close. I was going to make a push to get into the top 100, but now I see that the Nintendo hub is still broken, which means the number 135 was probably bogus too.I spent several hours yesterday recovering from a brutal losing streak to end up with a net two point increase in my rating. It felt like work the whole time. This game isn't fun anymore, I'm wasting too much time playing it, and I can't set a ranking goal because the hub is broken. I'm going to take a break from this game for a while.
